In 2019, then PhD candidate at Case Western University, Kuan Huang and his team were approached by a personal care chemical developer. They were looking to test the biodegradability of their polymer samples. While working with this company, Kuan and his team noticed something wrong with the biodegradability testing industry: while all of the methods were well developed and followed, these testing services were nowhere near hitting mass adoption.
These tests are time-consuming, labor-intensive, and wildly unaffordable for the average industrial consumer. Thus, the goal was established — making biodegradability testing services efficient, reliable, and cost-effective through the implementation of AI-driven technology.
After researching and developing our processes for years, we established our testing services.
